This item is not accessible through the product advertising API

 

In some rare instances some items simply aren’t available via the Amazon Product Advertising API. Because that’s how we create our links if Amazon doesn’t supply the product via the API then there isn’t anything we can do to make a link for it. There is a simple work around.

Simple work around: Create a link for something else. Then just copy the ASIN that you want into the short code

i.e. [easyazon_link asin=”B0057OCDQS” locale=”US” new_window=”default” tag=”yourtrackingid-20″ add_to_cart=”default” cloaking=”default” localization=”default” nofollow=”default” popups=”default”]Garmin Nuvi 50[/easyazon_link]

Important: This will only work for text links though.

It’s not ideal, but again we can only work with what Amazon gives us via their API. So in this case you may want to make the affiliate link regularly without EasyAzon, but again this should be rare.
